The members of the Data & Trust Alliance, leaders in deploying and developing AI, welcome the promising, risk-based approach toward shaping our collective AI future proposed by President Biden’s Executive Order on Artificial Intelligence. Recognizing that the details of regulatory and legislative frameworks remain to be determined, we encourage the government agencies charged with implementation of the EO to engage with the broad business community – to ensure we build a structure that effectively governs and supports AI’s potential for economic and societal value creation, while protecting against risks to individuals, enterprises, and society at large.
